Tara is beginning her 13th year with M&M Extra care and has over 20 years of out of school time experience. She likes to spend her free time in nature, hiking, camping, and exploring and playing the ukulele. Tara’s favorite books as a kid were “Little Mouse on the Prairie” and “Leo the Lop”.
Adrienne studied Early Childhood Development at Madonna University and has worked with children for over 35 years. She is beginning her 7th school year with M&M Extra Care. A fun fact about Ms. Adrienne is that she is a jump rope wizard and can jump rope longer than most of the M&M camp kids. Her favorite book as a child was “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.”
Madison is starting her second school year with M&M Extra Care. She has a degree in Health and Human services from the University of Michigan. Crafting is a favorite hobby of hers, including crochet, knitting, and jewelry making. She loved Junie B. Jones books as a child.
Charles, TJ as he would like to be called, is currently a Junior at Eastern Michigan University studying Communications and has spent time working in the Youth Development field for the past few years. He can hold his breath for a long time, and he appreciated the Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Underpants book series as a child.
Ms. Devin is a student at EMU pursuing a degree in communications. She volunteered with the Young People’s project in High School, mentoring and tutoring younger students. She likes to spend time with her family and friends, is on the leadership team of her sorority and volunteers her time with Arts and Scraps.
Trevyn is returning for his second school year with M&M. He is studying secondary education at EMU and is in his last year of studies before student teaching. He loves off roading and adventuring with his family. His favorite books as a child were “The Narnia Chronicles.”
As the owner of M&M Daycare, Inc., Madonna has been providing care for children since 1995. As a parent of two children who attended NHA Schools, Madonna understands the important role that M&M Plays in providing a quality school-age program. She believes that each child shall be treated as an individual and will have caring professionals provide a safe, nurturing environment. Additionally, independence, exploration, and a feeling of self-worth will be encouraged and opportunities for social-emotional growth, recreational activities and educational learning will be provided.
